Paul Hare – Architect

Paul Hare is committed to providing clients with innovative design solutions using traditional and unconventional construction methods and an ongoing commitment to researching sustainable technologies and methods. His design philosophy is simple: provide flexible, energy efficient plans to meet the client’s desires and find a balance between quality construction and the surrounding environment.

Essential to a successful project is to educate the Client on the overall building process with emphasis on each phase (Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction) and how they impact each other. This collaboration between the Architect and Client provides an excellent foundation for meeting client goals and budgets.

Passive solar design, site orientation, alternative construction materials, energy efficient, natural day lighting, and inside–out designs are common terms used during the Design Development of any project. Paul’s designs have focused on the flexibility of a home to meet the current ‘stage of life’ of clients: house grows as the family grows or sized to meet ’empty nesters’ or ‘assistant living’ clients. Other design criteria have been to utilize Insulated Concrete Forms for exterior walls, sprayed roof insulation, passive solar design methods and full basements.

Paul received his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A & M University in 1995. He’s a registered Architect in the state of Texas and a current member of the American Institute of Architects.

Bedrooms

We highly recommend that you click on two boxes – the number of bedrooms you know you need, and one less bedroom. For example, if you need 4 bedrooms, click on the boxes next to 4 and next to 3. Otherwise you will not see homes where existing rooms on the lower, main, or upper levels might work perfectly well as a bedroom instead of as an office, study, etc.
