| Vaulted ceilings
We consider a room to be vaulted if the ceiling - whether flat, angled, or curved - is above 10 feet at its highest point. If you prefer that one or more rooms not be vaulted in your new home, this is a very simple change that your builder can make for you.

This home was originally designed with brick veneer accented with wood trim and details, giving the home a quaint exterior. The small paned glass windows are found throughout the exterior, and bring in abundant sunlight to the interior rooms.
After entering the foyer off of the covered entry porch, there is a formal dining room to the right, and a study to the left. As you walk toward the center of the house, you pass a stairwell, a powder room, and a vestibule that leads to the master suite. The master bedroom has a large bank of windows that look out to the rear, a vaulted ceiling, and a door that walks out to the rear terrace. The master bath features both a shower and a separate tub, a private toilet room, two separate vanity sinks, and a large walk–in closet with a ‘his’ and a ‘her’ side.
Straight ahead of the entry foyer is an open great room with a dramatic two–story high ceiling. Windows and a glazed door at the rear look out to the open terrace, and a large fireplace flanked by built–ins is located on an interior wall. The great room is open to both the kitchen and breakfast area. A large central work island in the kitchen has a double sink, freeing up counter space to prep and cook. A butler’s pantry next to the kitchen separates the kitchen from the dining room, and provides additional space for storage and for food prep. A rear mudroom is accessed from the kitchen, and leads to a walk–in pantry, a laundry room, a coat closet, and a three–car garage.
After coming off of the stairs to the upper floor, you find yourself on a balcony that looks down to the great room below. To the right there are two bedrooms, each with its own walk–in closet, that are separated by a full bath. At the end of the balcony there is a large game room, which is located over the garage. The balcony wraps around to a fourth bedroom suite, which has a walk–in closet, and shares a full bath with the game room.
